Break free, find clarity, and step into your best self
I’m Maria—a mom and an experienced, supportive, and compassionate mental health clinician. I’m also a certified perinatal mental health clinician (PMH-C) and a fertility counselor—and I’m here to support you on your journey. For over 15 years, I’ve been guiding individuals through some of life’s most deeply personal and transformative experiences, and witnessing my clients heal, grow, and regain their strength is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling parts of my work. Whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, experiencing anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem, facing fertility setbacks, going through IVF or pregnancy, coping with miscarriage and loss, or adjusting to life transitions such as parenthood or work stress, you don’t have to go through it alone.
I believe that one of the most fundamental aspects of therapy is the relationship between the therapist and the client. Trust, collaboration, and a sense of safety are essential for meaningful growth and healing. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported—a space where we work together as a team. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process; it’s a collaborative journey where we explore your experiences, develop practical tools, and build the confidence needed to navigate life’s challenges. When there is mutual trust and open communication, transformation can happen.
In addition to perinatal mental health and fertility counseling, I specialize in anxiety, depression, and self-esteem, helping individuals overcome overwhelming thoughts, emotional distress, and self-doubt to regain a sense of balance and confidence. These challenges can manifest in many ways—persistent worry, negative self-talk, feelings of inadequacy/imposter syndrome, or difficulty managing relationships and life transitions.
My approach is action-oriented and evidence-based, combining practical tools, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and personalized guidance to help you regain control and confidence. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and create a structured plan that empowers you to move forward. My goal is not just to provide support but to equip you with the skills needed for lasting emotional relief, greater self-trust, and a renewed sense of well-being.
I practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps you understand and change unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and other challenges. It focuses on the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors—helping you identify negative thinking, develop healthier perspectives, and practice effective coping strategies. If you find yourself feeling stuck in patterns of worry, self-doubt, or emotional distress, CBT provides practical, action-oriented tools to help you regain control, build confidence, and navigate life with greater ease. It’s a great fit if you're looking for real strategies to create meaningful and lasting change in your life.
I look forward to meeting you and being part of your journey.
